ADVANCED KINESIOLOGY
(Touch for Health)
Kinesiology, originating from Physiotherapy, investigates muscle biomechanics through muscle testing.
George Goodheart and John Thie, American physiotherapists, integrated principles of Chinese, Tibetan and Ayurvedic medicine to rebalance energy in the meridians.
Known as Touch for Health, it is a complementary technique popular in Europe, Canada and the USA.
Becoming a practitioner in Kinesiology requires specific training by authorized professionals.

Professor Paul Milhazes, from the School of Advanced Kinesiology of Portugal / 2015
EXCERPTS FROM MY STATEMENT TO THE WEBSITE OF THE SCHOOL OF ADVANCED KINESIOLOGY (Portugal)
I completed my Kinesiology course in 2015. I was a student at Professor Paul Milhazes' School of Advanced Kinesiology, fulfilling all the requirements that gave me the Certificate that I keep in my office, alongside those that reflect my professional trajectory.
The technique, like a profound alchemical process, allowed me to discover the true, self-aware being that resides within each person. It was the body itself. The one I had looked at but never seen, the one I had studied and analyzed so much during my medical school years, and which I now truly understood—the body. Yes, it revealed truths that words silence and thoughts conceal. Kinesiology is my latest treasure.
In 2015, I flew to Portugal seeking to know, learn, apply, share…to be a Kinesiologist! Suddenly, I found myself in school classrooms, alongside students of all ages and professions, listening to the teachings of Professor Paul Milhazes. Everything flowed like music. The body was another of nature's masters, alongside trees, flowers, animals, and stones. And the "vix medicatrix naturae" were now called meridians. Gestures were signaling, and my trained hands could move, unblock, stimulate, and calm the energy of life in a healing process.
"Now, I recognize the purpose of my unique path in medicine, so I can decipher the language of the body and communicate with it, to promote good and joy to all who seek me."
